Sara is a graduate student in the Department of Geography at UCSB. Sara's background is in Urban and Regional Planning and GIS. Her current research focuses on advancing the spatial discovery of research data. Sara's research interests include geographic information retrieval, data management, semantic web technologies, and GIS education.
